The DELF and DALF are official diplomas issued by the French Ministry of Education to certify the French language skills of foreign candidates.
The Diplôme d’Études en Langue Française (DELF) and the Diplôme Approfondi de Langue Française (DALF) consist of 6 independent diplomas, corresponding to the 6 levels of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).
Depending on their level, candidates can register directly for the exam of their choice.
CIREFE offers 4 diplomas: DELF B1, DELF B2, DALF C1, and DALF C2.
Each diploma assesses the following 4 skills:
- Listening comprehension
- Oral production
- Written comprehension
- Written production
